Season 1: Meet the Contestants

Season 1 Contestants:

Wendy with Craft Goodies
Hello everyone, I am thrilled to be playing along here at One Month To Win It!
My name is Wendy and I hang out at a little place called  Craft GoodiesIt's a fun, happy place where I get to share the things I love, find inspiration for things I want, and make new friends along the way!
I am a busy momma to 5 beautiful girls, the wife to one equally busy hubster, a small business owner, a power tool junkie and a die-hard-try-it-all kind of crafter.
Creating keeps me calm in my crazy, hectic world {so I'm hoping for 4 weeks of pure therapy!}, but will happily take what I can get.

Sharon with Sweet Pea and Pumpkins

I am married to wonderful man for 8 years. We have four children together and I am blessed to a SAHM. I love crafting, there is nothing like creating!I spend alomost every day sewing, if the kids are in bed at night you can find me in my sewing room. Come on by and check out my blog!
Halsey with Spunky Junky
Photobucket
Hello fellow craft lovers! My name is Halsey, say it with me, "Hall-zee." Good job peeps! I run a nifty lil' blog called Spunky Junky. If you stop by you will meet my Hunk, get googly-eyed over my Punk, and you may even want to come over for lunch sometime and help me spunk up my junk. I'm cool with you stopping by...as long as you help do the dishes.

Melissa with Its Sew for You

My name is Melissa and I have a new blog Its Sew for You. I'm the mom to three wild munchkins, a 5 year old boy, and 2 girls (ages: 3 years and 4 months). My wonderful husband works hard so that I can stay at home and experience life through the eyes of my kiddos at a much slower pace than it used to be when I was a working mom!
I love to sew -- it is my way to escape and relax! I have an etsy shop, but enjoy making so many different things I haven't chosen my niche yet :)

Besides sewing I enjoy baking (if only my family woud eat as many sweets as me!), scrapbooking (although lately I've taken to the digital form), and taking pictures (still learning!!).

Hi there! My name is Jess, and I have a blog called Craftiness is not Optional, where I love to sew and craft up a storm! I have two adorable daughters, Sadie and Charlotte-and an awesome hubby who puts up with patiently supports my crafting/sewing impulses. I especially love sewing children's clothing and collecting hoarding fabric. :D

Terra with mama says sew

I'm Terra and I blog over at mama says sew.  I am the stay-at-home Mama to three adorable little stinkers and the wife of a very tolerant supportive husband. I love creating.  It's so rewarding to see something I've made on one of my children or in my home. I am thrilled to participate with all the other amazing crafters in One Month To Win It!

Jen at Iron Violet Designs

Hi, my name is Jen and I blog over at Iron Violet Designs. I obviously enjoy crafting, especially sewing projects, but I also love to workout specifically with kettlebells. I am a stay at home mom of 5 wild and crazy kids who keep our house interesting. I am also a piano teacher.

Maleah with Little Eme

I'm a girl + creator + mommy + designer + wife + chef + friend that generally loves life.  To de-stress I sew + crochet + read + craft.  I might have a slight addiction to fabric + yarn + books.
(Ok, and a slightly larger addiction to chocolate; Me + Chocolate = HAPPY!)
Come follow my creative process + life over at Little Eme!

Haley at Haybird
haybird
My name is Haley and I've been sewing for about 2 years now. I'm a stay at home mom to two beautiful girls and loving every minute. When I'm not sewing, I'm running! I'm so excited to be a part of this competition!  I blog at Haybird Blog

Kristi from The Speckled Dog

I'm Kristi from The Speckled Dog.  I'm a Southern gal with a love for the old-timey.  I love making over thrift store finds by giving them a new look with a fresh coat of paint and I love abusing them with sandpaper even more.  When I'm not covered in paint splatters, you might find me tangled up in yarn as I try to knit my way through my sizable yarn stash.

I'm Emily from Domestic Deadline and fairly new to blogging.  I have an imaginary blog following of several million adoring fans who wait with baited breath to see what I will do next.  At any given moment my house is in perfect shambles, welcoming those drop in guests to climb over the piles of things I should be taking care of instead of crafting.  The thought of adding to a land fill causes heart palpitations, so I self medicate by hanging on to anything I think could possibly be turned into something else.  My unpaid domestic days are dwindling as my youngest child grows but until then, I'll attempt to use crafts and sarcasm to entertain myself and hopefully a few others!

I am a stay at home mom of two that loves sewing and crafting. I have a fabric obsession and love finding new ways to fuel my obsession. Most of all I love creating handmade items that are special and one of a kind.  I blog at A Couple of Craft Addicts.

Behind the Scenes -- the judges and creators of OMTWI

Meet the Judges of One Month to Win It

All of the judges are former contestants on So You Think You're Crafty.  We know what it is like to compete...now we will see what it is like to run a crafting competition!

Check out Angie's blog for thrifty transformations, decor, crafting, and tutorials.  Angie is a full time working wife and mother to three plus she runs an etsy shop.  Some of her popular posts:

Check out Mandy's blog for crafts, sewing, recipes, photo tips, and more.  Mandy enjoys staying at home with her 4 children and all the fun that comes along with it.  And of course all things crafty.  Popular posts from Mandy:

Fabulous Playroom:

 Jessica with Running With Scissors
Jessica is cheap.  This motivates a lot of her projects to take junk and turn it into something useful.  You'll find sewing, craft, furniture building/ makeovers, decor, and other random projects on her blog.
She is a wife and mom to one toddler son with a little baby girl on the way.

Kalleen with At Second Street
Kalleen is a mother of four who creates to keep herself sane.     She especially enjoys refashioning clothing, cake decorating, throwing parties and celebrating holidays. Here are a few of the posts you'll find on her blog:

Kirstin and Jordan with kojodesigns
This sister team dabbles in all things creative. They love taking everyday items and turning them into something fabulous, aspire to create Amy Atlas-esque dessert tables, and can't resist a good knock off. Jordan can most often be found behind the lens of a camera and Kirstin is absolutely infatuated with her sewing machine... though both would say their favorite title is Mama.
